Jacqueline Diaz Maldonado - Puerto Rico

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she is a self taught artist and has been painting since she was a  young girl, when she started drawing human figures. She studied appreciation of classic art at college. Jacqueline also plays the saxophone and has formal musical studies at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico. She also is a makeup artist, which gives her paintings another dimension. Her preferred medium is pastel and she uses it in numerous ways. She also creates digital art and does animation. In addition to depictions of the human figure, Jacqueline has a passion for landscapes. She has won awards in  various online contests, and her paintings are exhibited online in Upstream People Gallery and Guest Gallery shows.
