"My concept as an artist is based on my interest in human psychology. My focus is on the 'Colour Life of the Soul' : the person with his dramas, desires, emotions, dreams and ideas takes center stage in my paintings. As in real life, actual things and pragmatism mix with fantasy, feelings, invisible things. Also, the soul is always a mirror of the problems of the world, e.g. of modern society or of our interactions with nature. To visualize this 'Colour Life of the Soul', I like to experiment with materials and techniques. By painting I try to show man and his communication with self and his environment. So aesthetics to me always has a psychological dimension."
